50 Cent donates to UNICEF in war against Qaddafi

After putting on a private show for the Libyan dictator,�50 Cent is putting his hand in his pocket to help fund the aid work for Libyan rebels and civilians who are struggling to take control of Tripoli and oust the despot Qaddafi.
As the crisis in Libya continues to escalate thousands of people put their lives at risk every day for the freedom they so desperately deserve after 42 years of tyranny at the hands of Colonel Qaddafi.
A press release was handed to The Associated Press yesterday which indicated that hip hop icon 50 Cent will make a significant donation to UNICEF in order to help the organisation with massive relief efforts throughout the continuing conflict in Libya.

?In light of the ongoing events in Libya, 50 Cent will be making a donation to UNICEF, which is providing vital relief supplies to meet the needs of women and children at risk during this crisis.? Said a spokesperson for ?Fiddy?.
The artists whose real name is Curtis Jackson put on a live performance at a private venue during the 2005 Venice Film Festival and it is believed that the Qaddafi family funded the private show.
Qaddafi is currently living in a city under siege as rebels continue to work towards overthrowing his regime which has treated its subjects with cruelty and disdain throughout the past four decades. The UN is yet to intervene but growing support from outside Libya is starting to exert pressure on the peace keeping organisation with a no-fly zone vote set to go through within the next 24 hours; meaning that Qaddafi?s planes will be grounded.
The dictator is also said to be facing a trial for possible war crimes.
Other celebrities who played privately for Qaddafi and his family include Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Usher and Nelly Furtado; all of whom have announced that they too will donate the blood money paid for their services to various aid charities.Please share your thoughts on 50 Cents donation.
