Trouble magnet Lindsay Lohan has been hit with another blow upon learning that should she deside to shun the plea deal, tough-as-nails Deputy District Attorney Danette Meyers will shine the light on her thieving past. And it isn?t a pretty picture.

?There is very damaging information about Lindsay?s past evidence of thefts,? a source told RadarOnline. Indeed, rewind back to 2009 when, although no charges were brought against her, Lindsay was the subject of speculation when jewels to the value of about $500,000 went missing during a cover photo shoot for Elle magazine. Add to that the time she was accused of stealing a mink coat to the value of $12,000,� and the disappearance of a $35,000 Rolex. There definitely seems to be a recurring problem at hand.

?Lindsay was investigated by the Los Angeles County Sheriff?s Department last spring after a friend reported that after leaving the Rolex at Lohan?s apartment, it wasn?t returned immediately,? the source said. ? Actually, it was quite a bit of time later that the watch was returned to the person. The watch was valued at a whopping, 35k, and like the current theft case, Lindsay was photographed wearing the watch. Lindsay wasn?t charged in that case because the victim became uncooperative as soon as the watch was returned. The D.A. will be sending investigators out from the office to talk to the victim. Meyers wants to know if there was a financial pay off?.

If Lindsay doesn?t accept the plea deal she will appear in court on April 21st for her preliminary hearing on felony theft charges for the theft of the $2,500 necklace from a jewelry store in California. If that is the case, Meyers will, according to the source, establish a pattern of behavior that will prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Lindsay is guilty.

We know Lindsay hasn?t exactly been raking in buckets loads of cash lately, but she is hardly so cash strapped that she has to resort to stealing. �Do you think she fits the profile of a kleptomaniac ? someone who has the compulsive urge to steal for no great gain, when he or she has enough money to pay for the item and no need for what is stolen?
