He?s headed to trail on charges of manslaughter in relation to the death of Michael Jackson, but Dr. Conrad Murray will have to wait until May to get things rolling.
Yesterday, a judge ruled to delay the opening statements until May 9th in order to give the prosecution enough time to build their case and screen jurors.
Murray stated, ?It is only acceptable to me if this is not strung along over a long period of time. I don?t want to lose my constitutional right to a speedy trial.?
Dr. Murray is hoping the trial gets over and done with as soon as possible because he?s facing some serious financial troubles.
