Nicole Richie lashes out at ?cruel? pregnany rumors

Nicole Richie, who recently tied the knot with long-term partner Joel Madden, is far from impressed with the rumors doing the rounds that she is pregnant and has made her thoughts about the media gossip very clear in a statement.
?Contrary to recent speculation, I am not pregnant?, the mother of two said to People.
?This irresponsible reporting continues to feed an atmosphere of self-doubt and insecurity.
?People?s bodies change and change again. This is not newsworthy and is a waste of valuable media space that should be used for more important issues,? the 29 year old added.
The former reality star?s weight dropped to a worrying low in the past and when pictures of her looking rail thin in a bikini looking rail thin surface, specualtion that she was suffering from an eating disorder ?which she has always vehemently denied ? was rife.
?It was a little unfair to say someone has an eating disorder when they don?t,? Richie said in the March� 2010 issue of Marie Claire UK.
?It?s extremely insulting and irresponsible. An eating disorder is serious and it?s a disease,? she added.Actress Keira Knightley is another celebrity who denies having an eating disorder, in spite of being very thin. Felicity Huffman, Thandie Newton and Paula Abdul, however, have all admitted to having suffered from anorexia or bulimia.
