Angelina Jolie's obstetrician, Michel Sussmann, held a five-minute news conference Wednesday in Nice, France, to announce that the birth could be "in the weeks to come."
Apparently unaware that the stars are unmarried, the doctor said: "Mrs. Angelina Jolie and her husband, Mr. Brad Pitt, told me to tell you that she is doing absolutely fine."
The doctor said she would remain in the seaside hospital until the babies are delivered.
"I can't give you a date," he said, adding that Jolie's hospital visit was scheduled.
French medical secrecy laws are very strict, but Sussmann was able to say that four rooms and a pair of security guards had been set aside for the couple -- debunking rumors that they had taken over th entire fifth floor.
The show will go on
The actors' union and Broadway theater producers reached a tentative agreement on a new contract Wednesday, averting the possibility of a strike such as the one that shut down Broadway for almost three weeks in November.
The contract, which expires in September 2011, would increase the compensation package for actors by 11.25%
The contract must be reviewed by the Actors' Equity Association's governing body. If it is approved, it would be sent to members for a vote, which could take several weeks.

Pippa Middleton, sister of Princess Kate, was photographed sunbathing topless on a yacht in Ibiza. The photos were taken way back in 2006 when the sisters were spending their vacation in Spain with prince William, but were only disclosed this past week. Curious timing for certain?

Pippa is the younger sister of� Kate Middleton, and though she has been photographed taking champagne at all manner of promotional parties, Lost in Showbiz had been holding off drawing your attention to her until her media coverage had reached critical mass. Of course, critical mass was achieved moments after many believe she upstaged her fabulous sister by looking perfect at the royal wedding, where she was Kate?s maid of honor.
There are also topless photos (that, frankly, don?t show much) of her on the same yacht, but we are not going to be posting those trying to show a little respect for the poor girl?s dignity. After all she was out on the water on a boat with no idea she was being photographed.
The Middleton family said on Monday it intends to make a formal complaint against two newspapers that published the photos.

Gossip Girl Cuts Taylor Momsen and Jessica Szohr
For some ungodly reason the CW renewed Gossip Girl for a fifth season which is good news for fans but not all of them because both Taylor Momsen and Jessica Szohr have been cut from the cast.
TV Guide confirmed the news yesterday that both actresses wont be returning to the show as regulars but they have been invited back to guest-star in a couple of episodes next season.
This shouldn?t come across as a big surprise for fans though, Taylor only appeared in 4 episodes this past season and has been rumored to be wanting to leave the show anyway. Jessica on the other hand has always been in the back of the show and this past season her character left town.
As for what?s up for both of them next it?s expected that Taylor will focus on her band The Pretty Reckless, who I actually love, and Jessica will focus on movie deals she has been offered.
How this show is still going I will never know.

Concussion is the momentary loss of mental function as a result of an injury to the brain following a blow to the head. In some cases, the sufferer does not lose consciousness.
Anyone suffering a blow to the head can get concussion. The chances of getting one are higher if you do a lot of contact sports or are involved in a traffic accident or become the victim of an assault. Concussion occurs when the impact causes a sudden disruption to a part of the brain known as the reticular activating system (RAS).
The RAS can be found in the middle part of the brain and is used to regulate yout sense of awareness and consciousness. During a severe head injury, the brain is temporarily moved out of its normal positions, causing disruption to the electrical signals betwen brain cells.
Common symptoms include:
Difficulties with memory and memory loss are also common and can occur in one of two forms:
- retrograde amnesia ? where you are unable to remember events that occurred before the concussion happened (this usually only affects the minutes immediately leading up to the concussion).
- anterograde amnesia ? where you are unable to remember any new information or events after the concussion happened.
The best treatment for concussion is rest and painkillers can be used to relieve headaches. Hospital admission is sometimes necessary.
Call for emergency medical advice if you have any of the following symptoms:- Remaining unconscious after the initial injury
- Trouble staying awake or still being sleepy several hours after the injury
- Problems understanding what people say
- Having a seizure
- Having difficulty speaking (slurred speech)
- Prolonged vision problems, such as double vision
- Reading or writing problems
- Difficulty balancing or walking
- Loss of power in part of the body, such as weakness in an arm or leg
- Complete memory loss
- Clear fluid leaking from the nose or ears (this could be cerebrospinal fluid, which normally surrounds the brain)
- A black eye, with no other damage around the eye
- Bleeding from one or both ears
- Sudden deafness
If you are involved in a lot of contact sports, you can minimize the risk of concussion by wearing protective headgear. Those who are prone to falling a lot due to other medical conditions should make an effort to make their home environment as safe as possible ? by having carpets instead of hard floor, for example. Always wear a seatbelt when travelling in a car and an appropriate helmet when cycling or riding a motorbike.

Celebrity plastic surgery mishaps may be the only thing that gives us little people a reason to feel sorry for the rich and famous?if only for a moment?then we burst out into laughter. I?ve assembled a quick list of some of the worst cases for you to ogle over.
Let?s kick it off with the most notorious of them all.
I grew up dancing in front of my television, imitating the late, great pop star, grabbing myself in places that didn?t make my mother too happy. I think some of the scuffmarks are still on the hardwood floor, left behind by my converse as I moonwalked along with the greatest dancer to ever live. Sadly though, that was when he looked like a strapping young man. Over the years, MJ?s face, skin, and persona transformed in ways that were hard to understand. The before and after pics say it all.

Suspects arrested in DJ Megatron murder case as friends bid farewell

Just under two weeks ago Corey McGriff, aka DJ Megatron was murdered just a block from his home in Staten Island, New York, in the early hours of the morning as he walked to a local store. The BET host and DJ was found at around 2am with a fatal gunshot wound to the chest and at the time nobody was able to pin a motive on the crime.
Police have now brought two suspects into custody on charges of murder, robbery and criminal possession of a weapon.
20 year old Richard Cromwell and 21 year old William Williams were arrested this morning and police have said that they believe the pair stalked McGriff prior to shooting him.
DJ Megatron was laid to rest on 5th April
It is thought that Williams was the gunman and Cromwell stole the watch MGriff was given as a gift by his pre-teen daughter. The pair deny the allegations and have thus far pleaded not guilty to the charges.
According to a write-up in Rolling Stone magazine police claimed that the popular and likeable DJ Megatron was buying pot when he was shot but these remarks seem wide of the mark considering McGriff only had a dollar in his wallet and his girlfriend had been supporting the family as his income didn?t cover the bills.
Megatron?s funeral took place on Tuesday 5th April and hundreds of guests joined close friends and family to bid farewell to their friend. In an open casket ceremony gospel R&B played in the background as guests paid their respects.
Marlon McGriff said the family had received overwhelming support and in return he wanted the day to be a positive focus on the life of Corey, and not on the person or persons responsible for his death.
?We have a strong family unity, and it?s going to be tough but we?ll get through it,? said Marlon. ?We have his kids with us, and he?s going to live through them.?
Perhaps the saddest irony is that McGriff had just pledged his support to an annual event spearheaded by Marquette Elliot, aimed at supporting local youth and ending gun violence.Elliot?s hope is that McGriff?s death was not in vain and said: ?He was a prominent figure and sometimes it takes something like this happening to bring everyone together.?
Perhaps now there will be some justice for a figure who entertained and inspired without offence.

Vanessa Hudgens' Weekend at the Cannes Film Festival

Making the most of her time overseas, Vanessa Hudgens kept up with her busy schedule as she partook in the 64th Annual Cannes Film Festival happenings in Cannes, France on Saturday (May 14).
The 22-year-old actress was looking cute and casual in a light, speckled babydoll frock as she was chauffeured to the festival grounds before changing into a fancy frock and heading to the 3rd Annual Finch's Quarterly Review Filmmakers Dinner.
Once finished up with the elegant dinner party, Vanessa continued along with the evening by hitting up the CAA Party at Soho House Cannes in celebration of the 64th Annual Cannes Film Festival at Villa Eilenroc.
During her time overseas, Miss Hudgens took a moment to speak with the Belfast Telegraph - during which time she revealed her aspirations when it comes to future film roles.
She dished, "I?m not content doing the same thing. I think all actors? no one?s content doing the same thing. You?re always broadening your horizons and exploring your limits. That?s what?s so much fun? I don?t want to do the same thing twice."
The adorable young star added, "I want to continue to grow because I?m just beginning. I feel very fortunate and very, very lucky and blessed. I?m very happy with where I?m at. But of course there is so much more that I want to tackle. That unrest is what will always keep us going? there?s no content; you?re always striving to do better. That?s what makes us creative people."

Just yesterday it was announced that Whitney Houston is in an out-patient rehabilitation program for drugs and alcohol and now she has been given a ban from seeing Prince in concert because she is basically a mess.
TMZ reports that people working for Prince have gotten so sick of her drunken behavior and constant ticket demands so they have now banned her from attending his future shows.
On top of being drunk, and possibly on drugs, at every show she also wanted to get up on stage at most of the shows so they eventually let her up on stage at The Forum in Los Angeles and this is the result of that:

He is going around saying that Whitney is back on crack. A friend of Bobby said ?It?s the worst it?s ever been. Whitney went on tour again, and that?s when the relapse occurred. Whitney?s shutting a lot of people out of her life. It is a dire situation.?
Let?s all get a prayer circle together and hope she gets herself together, but I honestly don?t see it happening for a long time.

Johnny Depp & Penelope Cruz: Cannes "Pirates" Premiere

Bringing their sure-to-be-blockbuster movie to the French Riviera, Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz were center stage for the "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" premiere during the 64th Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France on Saturday (May 14).
The undeniably attractive pair both looked fabulous as they took to the Palais des Festivals venue while joining up with co-stars Geoffrey Rush, Sam Claflin, Ian McShane and Astrid Berges-Frisbey.
With stars such as Robert DeNiro, Jude Law, Uma Thurman and Karolina Kurkova all turning up for the red carpet extravaganza, Depp and Cruz worked the crowd after having partaken in a photocall and press conference for their movie earlier in the day.
During the Q&A, Penelope was asked what was it like working with such a talented cast, to which she replied, "I felt very very lucky, it was a privilege to spend time with them and to share scenes with them. I had worked with Johnny 12 years ago, and it was about time that someone put us together again. I have so much respect for him, he is so free and so inspiring. He's really a very unique human being, a very unique artist, and it is an honor just to be around him. He is very inspiring in every single way, so I hope that we get to work together many more times."
Johnny was then questioned about what the experience was like to be back working with Penelope after such a long time, of which he answered, "The opportunity to go back and work with Penelope on any film would have been a gift - a sublime gift - because she is such a talent... So smart, so funny, so talented. Beyond that she is an amazing person, she is a great friend and a very very loyal friend. In the context of the work, when you get into the ring with her, whatever you throw out, she is going to grab and throw back then she'll throw a few things herself that really keep you on your toes. She's a real talent and I would do more films with her if she would let me."
"Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" is set to take over theaters next Friday, with the release date set for May 20th.

Jolie And Pitt To Adopt Chinese Orphan?

Angelina Jolie is considering adopting another child, less than two weeks after checking into a hospital to prepare for the birth of her twins, according to reports.
Heavily pregnant Jolie checked herself into a Nice, France hospital on 29 June (08) - where she will remain until her babies, with partner Brad Pitt, are born.
The expected additions will be the fifth and sixth children for the couple - who are allegedly on a mission to add a seventh member to their family.
According to reports, the pair was so moved by the plights of children orphaned by May's (08) devastating earthquake in China, they want to adopt a child from the region.
A source tells the National Enquirer, "Even as the birth of their twins impended, Angie and Brad were already talking adoption again. She's devastated over the earthquake that occurred in China, she has been in constant touch with relief workers as part of her U.N. involvement - and even got her hands on photos of a few orphaned kids.
"She's made overtures to offer a home to one, or even two China earthquake orphans, if they're siblings".
Jolie and Pitt have three adopted children, Maddox, six, Zahara, two, and Pax, four, as well as their biological two-year-old Shiloh.

Twitter monster Ashton Kutcher gave his followers a bit of a clue Wednesday that he may be joining ?Two and a Half Men?. Not much of a veiled clue actually?
?What?s the square root of 6.25?? Ashton asked in a tweet? Of course for the math challenged, the answer is 2-1/2.
Kutcher?s online message came amid reports that he?s nearing a deal to replace Charlie Sheen on TV?s formerly top-rated comedy. The 33-year-old was negotiating with series producer Warner Bros., The Hollywood Reporter said Wednesday, citing unidentified sources. Earlier, Broadcasting & Cable reported Kutcher had emerged as a candidate for the CBS series.
Warner Bros., of course, declined comment, as did CBS. Kutcher?s representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Shocking!
There is deadline pressure to get a deal done, with CBS presenting its fall lineup to advertisers in New York next Wednesday.
Kutcher gained fame on another sitcom, ?That 70s Show,? then focused on film roles (the romantic comedy ?No Strings Attached? the most recent) and producing, including the prank show ?Punk?d.?
Warner and CBS have been shopping for a name actor who could keep the highly lucrative sitcom afloat without Sheen. Within recent days, negotiations with British film star Hugh Grant fell apart.
There was speculation Wednesday that Kutcher could parlay his nearly 6.7 million Twitter followers and even bigger Facebook fan club into continued healthy viewership for ?Two and a Half Men.?
If the speculation is true, what role would they create for him? We think Ashton would be the perfect person to fill a role on the show and that the studio is definitely on the right track to salvaging the comedy juggernaut!
